Are You Thinking about Getting a Chemical Skin Peel?

A chemical skin peel is a procedure used to improve the appearance and health of the skin on your face, neck and hands. During the procedure, a chemical solution is applied to your skin, which causes it to begin to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated layer of skin is generally smoother, less wrinkled, and healthier.

We offer three different types of Chemical Skin Peels, the Glycolic Acid Peel, the Jessner’s Peel, and a Salicylic Acid Peel. We’ll help you pick the Chemical Peel that’s best for you and your skin.

Glycolic Acid Peel – Mild or Medium Peel

Glycolic Acid is an Alpha-Hydroxy Acid (AHA). It is made from sugarcane and is generally considered milder and gentler than other acids, which usually means a faster recovery time, and it is a good choice for sensitive skin.

Jessner Peel – Medium Peel

A Jessner Peel removes superficial layers of skin, it dries out existing acne, removes blackheads, reduces fine wrinkles and scarring, and lightens hyper-pigmentation. It improves the health and appearance of aging, sun-damaged, acne-prone skin.

Salicylic Acid Peel – Oily Skin or Acne Peel

Salicylic Acid is a Beta-Hydroxy Acid (BHA). It is good for oily, acne-prone skin. It helps remove oil and dead skin cells, prompting the skin to rejuvenate.

NOTE

After a chemical skin peel, the new skin may be more sensitive to the sun for a brief period of time, for best results, you must follow all post-procedure instructions.
